Daniel Black founded Hencove Marketing in 2014 and leads the agency in crafting brand stories for leading healthcare, finance, and other professional service firms. Daniel is a passionate marketer with deep experience in B2B marketing; he serves as counselor to business owners and executives, providing strategic direction and flawless execution on an array of marketing and communications initiatives. Daniel holds a bachelor of arts from Tufts University in comparative religion and communications and media studies. He resides in Greater Boston with his wife and two, young daughters; all four are avid Red Sox fans. He is active in his community and is a member of the Board of Advisors of Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Needham.
Will Macowski is a multidisciplinary designer with a love for branding. He’s worked with a broad range of companies, from investment banks to hospitals to universities, helping build and implement brand identities that are conceptually sound and rooted in practicality. His love for visual communication and knowledge of production fuels his desire to develop brand identities that push boundaries, yet remain effective in today’s ever-changing landscape. Will holds a bachelor of arts degree in graphic design from Northeastern University. When not working with clients, he can be found expanding his creative breadth by exploring new mediums, cooking, tending to his indoor jungle, or soaking in the mountains and lakes of New England.
Olivia Armstrong brings both marketing and public relations backgrounds to the Hencove team. Analytical by nature, Olivia is a problem-solver that continuously finds new ways to meet clients’ challenges. Olivia excels at helping brands find their unique selling points and tell their stories. She holds a bachelor of business administration degree from the College of William & Mary and a master of public relations degree from Boston University. Originally from Texas, Olivia lives in Brighton and enjoys keeping up her passion for dance and serving at her church and surrounding community.
Tom Scanlon brings a robust background in financial, business-to-business communications to the Hencove team. He enjoys taking on the challenge of presenting a client’s unique point of view and establishing them as thought leaders. He has exhibited strong media relations skills with numerous relationships in business and financial trade publications. Tom earned his bachelor of arts in Communication from Fairfield University. From New Jersey, Tom has decided to take on Boston and is open to any and all restaurant recommendations and will always be a devoted, but long suffering, Mets and Jets fan.
Aislinn Twohig brings her penchant for storytelling and spirited communication abilities to the Hencove team. She draws on her passion and academic focus on health communication and nutrition in partnering with healthcare companies to help articulate and share their brand stories. Aislinn earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from UMass Amherst. In addition to health communications, she also concentrated her studies in art history and architecture. When she’s not reading, writing, or admiring Boston’s inspiring architecture, she can be found cheering on her favorite Boston sports teams, running, dancing, or at her local indoor cycling studio.
