We’re looking for a dynamic team player to take on an important leadership role within the agency as Vice President. The candidate should bring 7+ years of relevant marketing experience, preferably with deep healthcare knowledge. The Vice President will lead client relationships and collaborate with colleagues to manage complex projects, and be a positive, driving force for our agency’s continued success. The candidate should have demonstrated experience quarterbacking marketing campaigns and brands.

As an on-demand marketing department for our clients, Hencove is expected to move laterally and vertically, with ease, across the marketing landscape. From strategy to branding to foundational materials to thought leadership, our marketing support runs the gamut of marketing and communications strategies and tactics. The Vice President should embody and embrace this approach.


The Vice President will be expected to oversee and manage complex projects and relationships with independence, utilizing a deep toolkit of skills to deliver results that will advance their brands. As part of the job, you will:

  • Think strategically, drive a game plan, and pivot as needed

  • Build and manage brands in healthcare, finance, tech, and professional services

  • Apply your experience across an array of marketing skills and disciplines

  • Write exceptionally for a range of styles and purposes

  • Lead all aspects of client relationships, including budgets, timelines, strategic direction, and performance reporting, with skill and ease

  • Collaborate with marketing specialists — design, website development, analytics, and others — to create powerful outcomes that exceed client expectations

  • Mentor and guide peers through all stages of career development

  • Support the agency’s quest to learn, grow and improve
