About The Job: Office manager

Hencove is a bustling, busy marketing agency and we’re looking for a full-time OFFICE MANAGER to help us. The Office Manager will wear many hats, ultimately, their main responsibility is to help us create an engaging environment for our team and our clients and keep the organization running smoothly, behind the scenes.

The right person is confident, professional, and organized; they should enjoy their role in helping us be a place people want to work, and an agency that clients want to work with. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who likes to roll up their sleeves and wants to learn and expand their career as Hencove grows.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the agency’s founder with tasks in multiple areas including business operations, client experience, and business development
  • Order and manage supplies, maintain kitchen and meeting spaces, assist with scheduling and meeting prep
  • Help organize and manage corporate expenses, invoices and financials
  • Organize team outings (lunches, social gatherings, team-building activities)
  • Lead and manage internal and client-facing social events including our quarterly outings, annual party, and client appreciation activities
  • Welcome office visitors and create a positive first impression
  • Support employee and intern on-boarding experience
  • Oversee relationships with vendors and service providers
  • Participate in special projects as needed
  • Serve as first-level of technical support
  • Provide payroll and benefits support

REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong organizational, attention-to-detail, planning, and communication skills
  • Desire to build relationships with colleagues and clients
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently
  • Excellent multi-tasking and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Proficiency with Apple operating systems
  • 1+ year of experience in office management
  • Working knowledge of QuickBooks preferred, but not required
